My Work

Why

I want to help reduce the pressure on healthcare in the Netherlands and make life easier for the people working in care.

How

I do this by working on projects that develop products or solutions aimed at lowering the workload in healthcare, or by contributing to the design and development of such innovations. For this, I have completed all kinds of different projects to broaden my knowledge about both healthcare and design.

What

The idea of this project was to make a fidget toy to help someone with ADD or ADHD. The idea I came up with was a “fidget mouse” so that the working class with ADHD has an extra tool to help them focus on work behind a laptop. During covid this was a real problem, focusing on work from home often seemed very difficult.

During the COVID lockdown, Microsoft Teams became an essential tool for remote work, and its usage continued to grow even after the lockdown. Healthcare organizations began using it as a central platform for communication and data management. However, many people still struggle to navigate the program effectively and require additional support. To address this, an escape room was designed as part of this project. The escape room aims to teach participants the most important technical aspects of Teams in an engaging and interactive way.

My passion for (heavy metal) music and guitar runs deep. I’ve always dreamed of designing my own guitar, so when the opportunity arose during my studies, I took it with both hands.

Through the process of designing my guitar, I discovered a love for design and creation, especially while working with Fusion 360. The final result is a combination of two of my favourite guitar designs, and it’s absolutely incredible. I hope to bring this design to life someday and make it a reality.

This small box is designed to help individuals with dementia live independently at home for longer. How, you ask? By encouraging them to eat. Through the strategic use of colour, scent, and design, the box stimulates appetite and motivates individuals to eat on their own, supporting their health and autonomy.
